SkyChart: Airline Executive Demo Now Available on Steam; Aerobiz Successor Ships Major v0.3 / v0.4 Patch and Tops PeerPush as #1 Product of the Day

AKRON, OH — May 21, 2026 — Independent developer Chris Kuhn of Casey Jones Labs today announced that the SkyChart: Airline Executive demo is now live on Steam. The demo launch gives strategy and simulation fans their first opportunity to try the spiritual successor to Aerobiz Supersonic on Valve’s platform.

The Steam demo arrives at the same time as the game’s biggest content update so far: the v0.3 / v0.4 “Aerobiz Depth Pass” patch. The update introduces multi-stop A → B → C route chains with per-leg demand math, transit rings on the world map, and a new route-planning wizard that pre-fills suggestions from the in-game Strategic Advisor. AI rivals can now open connecting chains of their own, with legacy and premium carriers favoring the longer hauls.

Recognition From Players, Curators, and Creators

Yesterday SkyChart: Airline Executive was named #1 Product of the Day on PeerPush.net, where it currently holds a 4.8 / 5 rating across 24 user reviews and sits in PeerPush’s “Excellent” tier.

YouTuber and longtime sim-strategy creator Czardus published a 46-minute first-impressions video in which he says “I didn’t expect this airline sim to be this deep” and concludes the game is “off to a great start.”

On Steam, the game has been recommended by curators including Osiris Reviews (12,772 followers), who called it “addictive, deep, and endlessly strategic”; The Biggest Lake Giveaways (10,259 followers); Indie Retro Gamers; and the Made with Godot curator group. Other early coverage includes a live first-impressions stream from twentysevenxl on Twitch, a recommendation from @PixelatedQuest on X, an Italian play-through from Kromeboy, and a French play-through from phoenixnoir.

What’s in the Game

SkyChart: Airline Executive puts players in the CEO’s chair of a fledgling airline, competing against more than 35 AI rivals across historical eras starting in 1930. The full title features:

  • 496 real-world cities across 7 world regions with real population data and seasonal demand
  • 84 aircraft, from the Douglas DC-3 through the Boeing 787 and into speculative late-era designs reaching 2095

  • A Strategic Advisor that analyzes 122,000+ city pairs on background worker threads
  • Full controller and Steam Deck support
  • A draggable, resizable, window-based UI
  • A built-in music player with Spotify integration

The full alpha is also available on itch.io for $17.99. Players can wishlist the Steam Early Access release here.
